Bunko has no accounts, no advertising and no third-party trackers, and sets no cookies.

Your reading preferences (furigana and translation settings) and your reading progress are stored only in your own browser, using local storage, so you can pick up where you left off. They are never sent to us.

To know which stories are useful, each page view is counted anonymously: your browser sends the page address, the referring site's domain and a random identifier generated in your browser, which lets us count returning readers without knowing who they are. We do not store IP addresses. You can clear the identifier at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
